Fall Wish List - Part 2

I do intend to get back to my normal blogging at some point...  More about that later this weekend.

Clarisonic - Mia2™ Sonic Skin Cleansing Holiday Pore–fection Collection

I haven't purchased everything off of my original fall wish list, but I have done pretty well getting a few items from my list.  Some were obviously higher priorities or more affordable than others, but overall I feel pretty good about my fall buys so far.  (And, of course, the wish list items aren't all I've purchased.)  You may notice there aren't any clothing items on my wish list.  I'm taking a break from buying clothes for a short while and am really trying to mix and match what I already have.

I've been thinking about the things I want to focus and motivate myself to go in the next few months.

Here they are!

  1.  Mia 2 - After seeings so many great reviews of the Clarisonic, I think it would be a worthy investment for my skincare routine.  I've looked into a few less expensive alternatives, but I really feel like the real thing would be my best bet.  (Do any of you have a Clarisonic?  Do you love it?)
  2. Naked 2 Palette - This one is still on my list.  I'm trying to hold out for a sale (Sephora usually runs a customer appreciation sale closer to Christmas OR I will redeem my Ulta rewards to knock a few bucks off).  I'm also trying to get through some of my other eye shadows in the meantime.  I've never spent that much money on makeup, but this is another one I think may be worth the investment.  I've compared this one to the original Naked and I think I prefer these colors a bit better.
  3. Sperry Top-Siders- I've been wanting some for quite a while, but I can't decide on which ones. I want to be sure I really love them since they are a little pricier than what I usually spend on non-athletic shoes.  I was told my a friend to check out Dillards and their selection. (Check out a few that I like here, here, and here.)
  4. A Gold Boyfriend Watch - I've seen several Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors at TJ Maxx lately, but I have yet to find one that I really love that's in my budget.  (The ones at TJ Maxx have been $79 and $99...  Not too bad considering they run $225 - 275 normally.  Check out this one from Piperlime.)
  5. Urban Decay - Naked2

  6. An iPad (mini) - Okay, the iPad Mini is just a rumor right now (people are thinking something along those lines may come out before the holidays), but if it actually happens I feel like it would be right up my alley.  Sure I have 2 laptops (1 personal and 1 from my school), but with the majority of what I do online, an iPad would be great.  I love the size of the Kindle Fire, but I think I would enjoy the iPad a bit more.  (I love my iPod Touch.)  A smaller version of the current iPad would probably be right up my alley.  And, of course, if I get one I'd need a cute cover or case for it too! ; )
The Clarisonic and Naked 2 are definitely my top 2.  I'm thinking I'll look for shoes this month since it's getting a little cooler, but if I don't find the right ones I won't be completely crushed.  I'm hoping that as we near Thanksgiving and Christmas there will be some good promos that might allow me an opportunity to snag a few of these things.

Do you have any of the items on my wish list?  What do you think of them?
Are they worth the money?
I want your feedback!

  1. I have a gold or rose gold boyfriend watch at the top of my list- I definitely need to keep an eye out at TJ Maxx and Kohl's! Totally forgot about those places!

    1. The one I found at Kohl's was marked down from $110 to $22. I had a $10 off coupon from the mail, so I paid only $12! JCP has the same watch at full price and Kohl's seems to have new Relic ones that are slightly different. Definitely keep an eye out at TJ Maxx... Mine had the Marc Jacobs rose gold watch on clearance for $79 (the original tag still attached said $275)! If I hadn't already bought my Relic watch, I'd probably have been even more tempted!

  2. I've been watching a Naked palette for the longest time.

    1. I'd never paid much attention to it until the past few months. I keep seeing You Tubers and bloggers raving about it, so I figure it's worth it!

  3. Clarasonic: yes, worth the money. its always shocking how much better my skin feels when I use it consistently. especially if you use it at night, it gets all the make up off! I would get it from sephora so in case it breaks (my first one did) you can just exchange it. I've had my replacement for 2 years and it's been great.

Naked II: I had the original palatte and exchanged it (at sephora haha) for the 2. I love the lighter colors and the black (the black is my fav part). they colors are really pretty and last a long time. the palette would last you years I think. Ive had this one for about a year and haven't even made a dent....and I use it every day. I haven't bought a new eyeshadow since either.

If you are looking for a temp gold boyfriend watch, Target has some great ones too :) People tell me all the time they think its MK when it really only cost me $15 haha

    1. Thanks so much for your input! I feel like we're a lot alike in our shopping ways and likes!

Thanks to Ulta's bonus points event last weekend I was able to rack up an extra 200 points getting my mom's birthday gifts and can now get $17.50 off my next purchase! Those discounts can be used on anything in the store, so I'm going to use that to get my Naked 2.

I'm really glad you suggested getting the Clarisonic at Sephora. Their customer service rocks, so it's good to know they'll take care of things if something goes wrong!
